The Governor of Cunene Province in Angola, Gerdina Didalelwa, along with her delegation, has paid a visit to the University of Namibia's School of Medicine at the Hage Geingob Campus.
The purpose of their visit was to explore opportunities for cooperation between the two regions in the medical sector.
After a brief background on the school and the courses it offers, the group took a tour around the campus to observe the laboratories.
The group had the opportunity to view various laboratories, including pharmaceutical, microbiology, and dentistry laboratories, as well as the anatomy research centre and health science gymnasium.
Cooperation amongst the two regions in the healthcare sector will enable them to share best practices, research, and innovation in healthcare delivery.
