The Women in Business Association (WIBA) held a two-day seminar packed with entrepreneurial training for female microbusiness owners in Katima Mulilo.

The training involved individuals from all constituencies in the Zambezi Region who are running businesses, including poultry farming, horticulture, tailoring, basket weaving, and other trades.

A committee to represent the region at the national level was also formed during the seminar.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Alufea Sampofu was director for planning at the Zambezi regional council Beaven Walubita.

Walubita said the platform offered an opportunity to transform micro businesses among women.

Various presentations aimed at guiding women business owners were delivered by speakers representing Namra, the Social Security Commission, the Ministry of Industrialization and Trade, and Agri Bank, among others.

Walubita expressed appreciation to these service providers for their contribution to small business success.
