The Church of Africa's late Deputy Bishop, Ngetujame Zacheus Makari, will be buried on Sunday at Okahumandu village in the Omaheke Region's Aminuis Constituency.
Rukee Moelanjane, the late deputy bishop's brother, confirmed the burial details to Nampa.
The body of Makari will be transported to Okahumandu village on Friday, where a memorial service is scheduled for 16:00 the same day.
Saturday will feature the final memorial service, and the burial will take place Sunday morning.
Tributes continue to pour in for Makari, a national health and community activist described by many as a selfless clergyman dedicated to preaching the word of God and uplifting communities.
Community activist Sandi Tjaronda remarked that Makari lived a full life marked by remarkable achievements and left behind an incredible legacy.
He noted that while Makari was a humble man, he was also a sophisticated scholar deserving of a doctorate for his significant contributions.
Joseph Kauandenge, a former youth activist and politician, remembered Makari as an impactful and selfless
individual. He recalled Makari's contributions during the Education Summit in the early '90s, when the Cape education system was transitioning to the Cambridge system.
Kapanda Marenga, vice president of the Church of Africa Youth League, stated that Makari's passing has left a significant void in the church, as he had a clear vision for both the youth and the church as a whole.
