Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) Chairperson Dr. Elsie Nghikembua shared the final batch of results for the 2025 Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections.​

Of the 1,499,499 voters registered for the Regional Council elections, 609,000 voted, representing a 40.7% turnout. 

In the Local Authorities elections, 752,043 voters were registered, but only 272,942, which is 36%, cast their ballots.​

The Swapo Party secured the majority of votes with 63% in the regional council elections and 52.4% in the Local Authorities elections.
