The bail application for one of the five Rehoboth residents accused of drug dealing and money laundering has been postponed to Monday, 29 December, due to the unavailability of the resident magistrate.
Naomi Fisch, along with Steve Schneiders, Menchel Beukes, Revilo Diergaardt and Brendon Vrieslaar, appeared again at the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court today following their initial appearance yesterday, which was marked by a community protest opposing the granting of bail.
Fisch and Schneiders are represented by Winnie Christians.
The five suspects were arrested on Friday in Rehoboth’s Block F residential area, where they were allegedly found with dagga valued at N$10,000 a half-mand Mrax tablet worth N$60,000 and cash exceeding N$154,000.
