The Aminuis Constituency Councillor, Isando Kavari, has vowed that his office will work tirelessly on the issue of agriculture, youth empowerment, education and health, amongst other priority areas, in order to advance development.
Kavari remarked this during an interview with NBC News at Aminuis.

Aminuis Constituency Councillor Isando Kavari pointed out that ninety percent of local communities are subsistence farmers; hence, their livelihood depends significantly on agriculture.

Therefore, Kavari says there is a need to strengthen this sector, particularly in terms of livestock marketing, for the farming communities to earn a deserved income.

Aminuis is regarded as among the areas in the Omaheke Region possessing abundant underground water; thus, setting up green schemes projects could be an added advantage.

Through his office and other relevant stakeholders, Kavari says they will organise more farmers' information sessions to ensure that topics like the quality of animal and crop production and other information are shared with farmers to improve their output.

"When it comes to livestock also, we have noticed the importance of us assuring our farming communities to bring in the quality livestock. Then we need to bring in farmers' information days whereby you call in farmers and mobilise and sensitise them when it comes to the types of rams or goats that we have to use in our livestock for the betterment of our production."

Education is another area that needs serious attention, and a committee will be established to coordinate constituency educational affairs, while his office will advocate for more parental involvement.
Moreover, Kavari says income-generating projects and job creation, through various youth schemes, will be given the utmost attention to address youth challenges.

"We had a big meeting whereby stakeholders of education in our area, including the school authorities such as principals and management members, were involved, and we have addressed the way forward on how we can improve our academic performance."

Aminuis Constituency has a population of 13,801 inhabitants.
