It is still uncertain when the remains of Zambia's former president, Edgar Lungu, will be buried.
Lungu died nine months ago, and the burial process has been delayed due to court battles between the family and the government.
Zambia's former president died in June last year in South Africa, where he had gone for a medical check-up.
Since then, his immediate family and the Zambian government have been in a debacle over his burial.
The matter dragged on until 12th August, when the court in South Africa ruled in favour of the government of Zambia.
The ruling was that the remains of Lungu be handed over to them for burial in Lusaka, where the rest of the country's former presidents have been interred.
The Lungu family, unhappy with the judgement then, went to the Supreme Court with an application for leave to appeal.
The family has since filed an appeal in the Pretoria High Court.
Lawyers have not served a copy to the government yet.
