Tomorrow, the 28th of May, Namibia observes its second annual Genocide Remembrance Day – a solemn national holiday dedicated to reflecting on the 1904-1908 atrocities committed against the Nama and Ovaherero people.

Deputy Director for Government Information Services at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Elizabeth Amagola, outlined government preparations for the day.
