A researcher at Integrity Namibia, Tileni Monghudi, says people at the grassroots level must first understand what corruption actually means before they can fight it.

The Keetmanshoop Town Council elected Councillor Annelize Knaus of the Landless People's Movement (LPM) as the new mayor during today's annual mayoral election. 

Councillor Easter Isaak nominated Knaus for the mayor position, and former Mayor McDonald Hanse seconded the nomination.
