The International Confederation of Midwives and Laerdal Global Health have donated birth simulators to the International University of Management.

The items aim to enhance the practical skills of nursing students, thereby reducing risks during childbirth.

Newly appointed Kavango East Governor Julius Hambyuka said the region is ready to turn its obstacles into opportunities. 

Despite the many challenges still facing the region, Hambyuka is convinced that only service delivery will restore the confidence and trust of the local inhabitants. 

The High Court has sworn in two Deputy Judges Presidents and several Acting Judges.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, acting on the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission, appointed the judges, who were sworn in by Deputy Chief Justice Petrus Damaseb.

NamPower's new mobile substations, designed to facilitate continuous power supply in case of breakdowns at substations, arrived in Windhoek today.

The substations were bought at a cost of N$50 million and were assembled in South Africa, as their components are from different countries. 

Illegal fences of about 27 farmers are being removed in the Tsumkwe-West and Okakarara areas by the Otjozondjupa Communal Land Board.

The exercise started on Monday in Tsumkwe-East and is currently in Okakarara.
