Governor of the Otjozondjupa Region, John ||Khamuseb, paid a visit to residents of the Okahandja informal settlement, who raised their concerns with him regarding land allocation and service delivery.

Okahandja Police Station has a new commander, Tjarimba Mathais. This follows the retirement of David Scott, who served the community in that post for the past three years.

Mathias served in the police for 18 years.
