Agriculture is more than just a means of production—it's a pathway to prosperity for around 70% of Namibia's population. 

WorldSkills International President Chris Humphries emphasised the organization's mission during the event, stating that the "organization's mission is simple: to change the world for the better through skills."

Residents of Zambezi believe that agriculture if given the necessary attention, investment and support, can develop into a driving force for economic development and job creation in their region.
