The high unemployment rate among people with albinism in Namibia remains a serious concern, largely driven by stigma, discrimination, and misconceptions about their abilities.

People with albinism often face challenges in various areas such as education and employment due to social attitudes and a lack of awareness. 

Discrimination and prejudice are common, as some individuals encounter negative attitudes from employers who fail to respect the rights of people with albinism.

A stakeholder engagement event is to be hosted at Ongwediva in the Oshana Region to promote the graduate studies programme of the 'Southern African Science Servicing Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management Integrated Water Resource Management.'
