Namibia's delegation promoted inclusive apprenticeship at the Sub-Saharan Africa Skills and Apprenticeship Stakeholders Network (SASASNET) conference, taking place in Abuja, Nigeria. 

The Otjozondjupa Regional Council has resolved to update a database of unemployed and skilled persons to absorb some into government projects undertaken in the region.

The move follows a recent community demonstration at the Kalkfeld settlement where they demanded jobs and better services.
