Documents that remain outstanding have again delayed the bail hearing of brothers George and Bino Cloete in the Keetmanshoop Magistrates Court. 

The Pretoria High Court has indefinitely adjourned the hearing of the leave to appeal, where the family had made an application to be heard following their failure to accept the judgement that was passed to allow the Zambian government to repatriate and bury the remains of the late Edgar Lungu in Zambia.

Defence lawyers made their closing arguments in the ongoing NAMCOR bail proceedings before Magistrate Linus Samunzala at the Windhoek Magistrate's Court.

The lawyers have questioned the basis of their clients' arrests and the quality of evidence presented by the Anti-Corruption Commission.

Another legal battle has emerged at the High Court, tied to the infamous Fishrot scandal, as Nigel Van Wyk faces staunch opposition from the Prosecutor General in his attempt to seek review and overturn some charges against him.
