Ghana's President, John Mahama, has removed the country's Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkonoo, from office with immediate effect.

Dr. Job Amupanda has lodged a formal complaint with the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) against High Court Judge Shafimana Ueitele, alleging misconduct in his handling of the Red Line trial.
