NACN encourages rural Namibians to invest in arts

A National Arts Council of Namibia board member (NACN), Emmanuel Enkara, has encouraged people living in rural areas to invest in the arts and attract tourism.

Enkara, during an advocacy session in Omuthiya, said rural areas could also attract tourism through their art.

The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) had its own blood donation campaign at its headquarters in the Northern Industrial Area in Windhoek on Thursday.

This follows an appeal by the Namibia Blood Transfusion Service (NAMBTS) for the public to donate blood as NAMBTS is running low.

The centre accommodates visually impaired people for academic purposes. 

The centre accommodates at least 16 people with visual impairments. 

Walvis Bay prepares for World Ocean Day

All roads lead to Walvis Bay Independence Beach, where about 600 people are expected to attend the World Ocean Day celebrations hosted by the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources.
