Divundu residents called on to support planned blueberry farm

Mukwe Constituency Councillor Damian Maghambayi has called on the residents of Divundu to support the planned blueberry farm at the local authority.

Maghambayi is confident the farm will create much-needed jobs in the constituency and Divundu in particular.

Elephants destroy crop fields in Zambezi Region

Elephants have started destroying crop fields in the Zambezi Region again, leaving residents with little hope.

The jumbos destroyed crop fields at Wuparo, Balyerwa, Dzoti and Bamunu in the Judea Lyabboloma, Linyanti and Sibbinda Constituencies.

Endobo evictees who have been camping outside the compound since September 2022, are calling on the municipality to address them on the way forward.

Occupants of about 72 households were evicted from Endobo last year and 47 received plots from Tsumeb Municipality.
