China has approved Namibia's export of mutton and dried fruits.

This was confirmed by President Nangolo Mbumba at his arrival from Beijing, China, today. 

President Nangolo Mbumba says Namibia wants to work closely with China in the development of energy, including green hydrogen, solar, hydro, wind, and nuclear energy.

President Mbumba held a bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, at the Great Hall of the People.

Potential collaboration by Namibian and Chinese businesses in finance, ICT, real estate, and mining is gaining momentum at the ongoing Namibia-China High-Level Business Forum.

President Nangolo Mbumba has received courtesy calls from several delegations from Chinese companies in Beijing ahead of the Namibia-China High-Level Business Forum.

The Namibia-China High-Level Business Forum is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

President Nangolo Mbumba expects an organised programme from the Namibian delegation attending the 9th FOCAC summit, scheduled to start this week.

Dr. Mbumba said this as he arrived in Beijing on Monday evening.

Team Namibia is ready and promises to give its all for the 47th World Skills Competition, to be held in Lyon, France, next month. 

President Nangolo Mbumba sent off the team, urging them to be careful in their conduct. 

Popular beverages will now be packaged and branded locally, following the unveiling of a N$337 million wine packaging line by Namibia Breweries Limited.
