The National Youth Council briefed President Hage Geingob on plans to advance youth developmental programmes aimed at addressing unemployment among young people. 

The Namibian Organization of Youth with Disabilities has elected youth representatives from each region to help them better address their needs during the National Youth Conference at Rietfontein.

The Otjozondjupa Governor, James Uerikua has called on the National Youth Council leadership to represent those who elect them into office.

Uerikua was speaking at the 8th Representative Council meeting at Otjiwarongo.
