Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba has turned 90 years old today, August 18. 

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah extended best wishes to the former statesman, who served as the country’s second President from 2005 to 2015.

The Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced the death of Veueza Kandjii-Tjombonde, who died on Friday after collapsing at the pre-launch of the Namibian Women in Aviation initiative. 

Kandjii-Tjombonde served as the personal secretary to the executive director of the NCAA.
