The Student Union of Namibia has endorsed Esther Simon for the position of Executive Chairperson of the National Youth Council (NYC).
 

The Namibia Youth Peace and Security Network (NYPSN), in collaboration with the National Youth Council (NYC) and the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEYISEC), has officially launched its two-day Dual Capacity Programme on Namibia's Action Plan for Youth, Peace and Security.

Former National Youth Council (NYC) Secretary General Juliet Kavetuna has called on youth organisations to be more active and responsible. 

She made these remarks during the NYC engagement meeting in the capital.

The National Youth Council has disbursed over N$3 million to youth forums funded across the country.

The funding assistance is split between 14 regional forums and 121 constituency youth forums to empower them and mobilise inclusive participation at grassroots level.
