Oshana Police say they have made tremendous improvements in combating and resolving complex crimes, as they strive to improve real-time reaction to armed robberies.

Oshana Police Commander Commissioner Naftal Sackaria has launched Operation Ndjadila at Oshakati in the Oshana Region.

The operation is named after Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila, who has been serving as the region's Head of the Crime Investigations Division (CID) in Oshana since February 2024.

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, has given Rundu Town Council two days to find a contractor and start work on covering trenches that pose a risk to lives in the Tutungeni location.

In a speech read on her behalf, Matomola described the uniform as more than clothing, a symbol of equality that helps learners focus on studies.
