Oshana Police say they have made tremendous improvements in combating and resolving complex crimes, as they strive to improve real-time reaction to armed robberies.

Oshana Police Commander Commissioner Naftal Sackaria has launched Operation Ndjadila at Oshakati in the Oshana Region.

The operation is named after Deputy Commissioner Fredrik Ndjadila, who has been serving as the region's Head of the Crime Investigations Division (CID) in Oshana since February 2024.

The family of the late headman of Onelago Village in the Onayena Constituency of the Oshikoto Region, Sam Nepando, is struggling to come to terms with his death.

Nepando was fatally shot while carrying out his duties to resolve a land dispute.
