The Ministry of Health and Social Services has launched a TB mass screening campaign, targeting high-risk areas in the Tsumkwe constituency.

The campaign, which started on Monday, will run until the 25th of April.

The campaign focuses on cleaning streets, planting trees along roads, and involving young people in daily activities.

The generator that pumps the community boreholes broke down last year when the nbc news team visited the community just before the local authority and regional council elections.

Social grant beneficiaries at Tsumkwe and surrounding villages have expressed dissatisfaction about the slow process of Nampost payments.

Nampost took over from Epupa Investment in October last year, and beneficiaries want that company to do their pay-outs.
