The maintenance policy of the Ministry of Works and Transport needs an overhaul to deal with government infrastructure that is rotting and falling apart.

Works and Transport Minister Veikko Nekundi has announced the upgrade of the 105 kilometers gravel to tar road between Khorixas and Kamanjab. 

Nekundi made this announcement at a consultation meeting between the Ministry, Roads Authority and traditional authorities at Khorixas in the Kunene Region.
