Newly sworn-in Swakopmund junior mayor, Enya Fortsch, has urged her peers to embrace leadership not as a quest for perfection, but as a commitment to service.

The Secretary General of the Pan African Youth Union, Wiisichong Bening, has stated that young people are often perceived as overly ambitious, with policymakers misinterpreting this as misbehaving.

This decision, according to the party's leadership, was made at their first national convention to elevate young voices in Namibian politics.

Nedbank Namibia has pledged support for the Children's Parliament's future endeavours and to open bank accounts for all members of the 6th Children's Parliament. 

The bank made the announcement during a dinner it hosted for the young MPs.
