Nandi-Ndaitwah warns against inflated road costs

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has warned contractors working on road infrastructure projects in the Kunene Region not to inflate tender costs after they have already been agreed upon.

Omusati communities fund 4km access road to improve connectivity

The communities of Okathitu Kambanda, Embwa, and Oluteyi in the Omusati Region met the government halfway by raising funds to construct a 4-kilometre access road. 
The new road, located along the envisaged Epato-Ombathi gravel route, will link residents to nearby clinics, churches, and schools.

New streetlights installed in Ndiyona Settlement

New streetlights were installed along the trunk road at Ndiyona Settlement in the Kavango East Region. 

The project, which took three months to complete, was funded by the Kavango East Regional Council at a cost of more than N$1.1 million. 

Walvis Bay builds N$25.5m sewer pump station

The Walvis Bay Municipality is constructing a new N$25.5 million sewer pump station at Kuisebmond to improve sanitation and wastewater management.

Built in the 1960s, the existing sewer pump station at Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, is nearing the end of its life.
