NAMPOWER LISTS N$5 BILLION BOND PROGRAMME ON NSX

Namibia Power Corporation (NamPower) has successfully listed a N$5 billion bond programme on the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX).

NamPower, partnering with Nedbank Namibia and Cirrus Securities, announced this on Thursday in Swakopmund.

NamPower awards N$12 million bursaries to 15 students

NamPower has awarded full bursaries worth N$12 million to 15 students pursuing various fields of study at local and SADC tertiary institutions.
The NamPower Bursary Scheme has been in existence for over 26 years and has invested millions in the education of hundreds of Namibians. 

Gobabis to introduce prepaid water and electricity by 2026

The Gobabis Municipality, in collaboration with the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development, is set to roll out prepaid water and electricity provision to its residents; these projects should be completed before the end of the 2025/2026 financial year. 

Thipanana Villagers protest rural electrification project diversion

The villagers claim that NamPower wrongly diverted the electrification project to another village.
