Namibia developing Artificial Intelligence Act – Theofelus

Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, said Namibia is in the process of developing the Artificial Intelligence Act.

She revealed this in her response to the question from PDM MP Diederik Vries about the regulation and ethical use of AI.

Powercom commissions 25 network towers across Namibia

ICT infrastructure and equipment provider Powercom this afternoon commissioned a total of 25 network towers: two in Omusati, four in Erongo, seven in |Khomas, two in Otjozondjupa, two each in Kavango East and West, one in  ||Kharas, one in Oshana, one in Oshikoto, and three in the Zambezi Region.
